■여야 3당 원내대표가 다음 달 1일 국회 본회의에서 추경안을 처리하기로 극적인 합의를 이뤘습니다. 

외교·안보 사안을 다룰 여러 상임위원회도 오늘부터 정상 가동됩니다.

■윤석열 검찰총장이 대한변호사협회를 방문해 국민 입장에서 검찰 수사와 재판 관행을 비판해달라고 요청했습니다. 이찬희 변협회장을 만난 자리에서 변협이 수사와 재판 과정을 국민 입장에서 지적해주시면 여러 가지 제도개선을 추진해 나가겠다고 약속했습니다.

■남북미 정상의 지난달 판문점 회동 때만 해도 곧 열릴 것 같았던 북미 실무협상이 차일피일 미뤄지고 있죠. 

폼페이오 미국 국무장관이 북한과 실무협상을 곧 재개하길 바란다고 한 행사에서 입장을 밝혔습니다. 3차 북미 정상회담은 아직 계획이 없다고 말했습니다.

■일본의 수출 규제로 촉발된 갈등을 논의하기 위해 다음 달 초 장관급 회동을 갖자는 우리 정부의 제안을 일본이 또 거절했습니다. 한일 갈등이 글로벌 경제에 미칠 악영향에 대해 미국 내에서도 우려의 목소리가 커지고 있는 것으로 전해졌습니다.

■한국을 신뢰할 수 없다며 수출 규제를 강화하고 있는 일본이 한일 군사정보보호협정은 연장하고 싶다는 뜻을 내비쳤습니다. 신뢰할 수 없는 나라의 군사정보는 공유하고 싶다는 건데, 논리적으로 앞뒤가 맞지 않습니다.

■무기 전용 가능성 물질 규제는 일본 정부가 내세우는 경제 보복의 구실입니다. 그런데, 일본은 제대로 통제하지 않은 중국이나 타이완은 그대로 두고, 오히려 수출통제를 제대로 하고 있는 우리나라에만 규제하고 나선 것으로 드러났습니다.

■딸의 KT 부정 채용 의혹으로 기소된 김성태 자유한국당 의원이 딸의 KT 계약직 채용 당시 직접 이력서까지 사장에게 건네며 채용을 청탁한 것으로 드러났지만, 김 의원은 여전히 딸의 채용에 개입한 적이 없다는 입장을 고수하고 있습니다.

■ The floor leaders of the ruling and opposition parties reached a dramatic agreement to pass the extra budget bill at the plenary session of the National Assembly on April 1. 

A number of standing committees dealing with diplomatic and security issues will also be in operation today.



■ Prosecutor General Yoon Suk-yeol visited the Korean Bar Association and asked the public to criticize the prosecution's investigation and trial practices. In a meeting with Lee Chan-hee, the head of the association, the association promised to push ahead with various reform measures if the people point out the investigation and trial process.



■ North Korea-U.S. working-level negotiations, which were likely to take place at the Panmunjom meeting last month, have been delayed for a while. 

U.S. Secretary of State Pompeii says he hopes to resume working-level negotiations with North Korea soon. He says he has no plans yet for a third summit between North Korea and the United States.



■ Japan has again rejected Seoul's proposal to hold a ministerial meeting early next month to discuss the conflict triggered by Japan's export regulations. Concerns are growing in the U.S. over the negative impact of the Korea-Japan conflict on the global economy.



■ Japan, which is strengthening export regulations, has indicated that it wants to extend the Korea-Japan military information protection agreement, saying it cannot trust Korea. I want to share military intelligence in an unreliable country, but logically it doesn't add up.



■ Restrictions on possible weapons-only materials are an excuse for economic retaliation by the Japanese government. However, it turns out that Japan has not properly controlled China or Taiwan, but rather regulated Korea, which is properly controlling exports.



■ Although Rep. Kim Seong-tae of the main opposition Liberty Korea Party was found to have asked the president to hire his daughter by giving her resume when she hired her daughter's KT contract workers, Rep. Kim still maintains that she had never been involved in hiring her daughter.

■광주에서 뺑소니 음주운전 사고가 또다시 발생했습니다. 28살 백모씨가 자신의 SUV 차량으로 초등학교 교사를 꿈꾸던 대학생 19살 A군을 들이받고 도주했다 잡혔습니다. A군은 차량에 치여 그자리에서 숨졌습니다.

■시청자들의 투표로 아이돌 그룹 멤버를 선발하는 오디션 프로그램이 순위 조작 의혹에 휘말렸습니다. 득표 결과에서 특정 숫자의 반복이 나타나 의혹이 제기된 건데, 경찰도 내사에 착수했습니다.

■인터넷 지하세계로 불리는 '다크웹'이 최근 범죄의 온상으로 떠올랐다고 합니다. 마약과 불법 동영상은 물론, 개인 신용카드 정보와 위조지폐 등도 버젓이 팔리고 있는데, 더 큰 문제는, 다크웹에 접속하는 국내 이용자가 하루 평균 1만 6천 명에 육박한다고 합니다. 

■지난 주말, 광주 클럽에서 일어난 사고와 관련하여 서울과 부산, 대구 등에서 영업 중인 복층 클럽 중 35곳을 무작위로 뽑아 건축물대장을 확인해 봤더니, 이 가운데 10곳이 복층 공간 등을 무단 중축해서 행정기관에 적발됐던 것으로 조사됐다고 합니다. 

■일본 제품에 대한 불매운동이 나날이 확산하는 가운데, 일본 현지에서도 한국 관광객들의 카드 사용이 현저히 줄고 있다고 합니다. 유명 관광지 한곳의 경우 사용금액이 이달 첫째 주에 비해 둘째 주에 32% 쪼그라들었습니다. 

■칸 영화제 황금종려상 수상작으로 국내에서 1천만 관객을 돌파한 '기생충'이 중국의 한 영화제에서 상영될 예정이었다가 석연찮은 이유로 갑자기 취소됐습니다. 검열 과정에서 빈부격차를 담은 영화 내용이 문제 됐을 가능성이 크다는 추측이 쏟아졌습니다.

■채팅창을 잘못 알고 엉뚱한 글을 올리는 사고, '방송사고'라고 부르는데요. SNS 사용이 늘면서 최근 직장인들이 가방 빈번하게 저지르는 실수가 바로 이 '방사'라고 합니다.  동기나 후배들이 있는 단체 채팅방에 올려야 할 내용을 상사에게 보내는 식이라는데 웃지못할 헤프닝도 많다네요. 

■고추가 기억력을 나쁘게 할 위험이 있다는 연구 결과가 나왔습니다. 카타르와 호주, 미국 공동 연구팀이 15년간 중국인 4천500여 명을 대상으로 연구한 결과, 고추를 꾸준히 많이 먹은 사람은 그렇지 않은 사람에 비해 기억력과 인지능력이 2배가량 떨어진 것으로 나타났습니다.

■매년 상반기엔 부동산 개업이 폐업보다 많다고 합니다. 통상 전년도 공인중개사 시험 합격자들의 개업이 연초에 몰리기 때문이라는데요. 그런데 올해 상반기엔 전국 주택 거래량이 급감하면서 지난달 공인중개사 폐업이 올 들어 처음으로 개업보다 많았다고 합니다.
